Woodland Sessions

We have a session in the Woodland Area on a Friday morning. The area contains, a log pile for den building, a tyre swing, a mud kitchen area, a cabin which has mark making materials, bug hunting tools and exploring equipment and a wide variety of trees. The key features of using the Woodland Area are:

• The use of a mostly natural outdoor environment 
• Children can build confidence and independence in a safe and supported environment, learning how to take risks
• Child initiated learning, allowing them the opportunity to explore and discover
• Opportunities for the children to discover by using all of their senses
