Our Sessions

At pippins we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, which supports the provision of activities and environment to develop children’s social, communication and physical skills. By following the framework children learn through exploration, discovery and problem solving, as well as being introduced to early literacy and numeracy skills. 

Our resources and activities are constantly changed and updated to support current teaching and learning practices.

Throughout the day there are a range of exciting activities available indoor and outdoor for the children to choose from as they learn through their play. These may include:

• Water & sand play
• Messy play arts and crafts
• Home corner / role play area
• Maths area (shapes, numbers, patterns)
• Book nook / library
• Small world area
• Construction toys
• Musical instruments
• Phonics & mark making area
• Physical play (balls, hoops, ride-ons, bikes, scooters, slide & building bricks)
