Our Pippins Team
The preschool is managed by Sam Tarver who has experience with children from 3 months to 5 years in a nursery setting and has also worked as a teaching assistant in a first school. Sam has two young children who currently attend Flyford Flavell Primary School.
Donna Palmer has been working in Pippins since 2014 and has moved with it to Flyford Flavell Primary School. Donna has experience with children from 3 months to five years within nursery settings and has worked locally as a nanny for several families.
Meg Ricketts is the third member of the team and also has nursery experience from 3 months to five years, in addition she is a nanny before and after school for a family whose children she has looked after since they were 5 months old.

I live on a farm with my husband and two daughters, we have one dog, three cats and two rabbits. I enjoy craft activities with Lucy & Emma and spending time in the garden. |
| Donna Palmer Hello I’m Donna. I love working in Pippins and watching the children grow as they move through the school. At home I have 3 cats who demand lots of cuddles. I enjoy crochet and I’m often busy making soft toys, blankets & clothes ready for new arrivals. |
| Meg Ricketts Hi I’m Meg and have really enjoyed getting to know all of the families at Pippins. Outside of Pippins I love going for days out with the children I nanny. I have a horse called Ron and have recently started going to competitions with him. |
Staff Qualifications
The staff at Flyford pippins are experienced and qualified and are dedicated to early years learning.
Sam Tarver | Foundation Degree in Early Years Education (level 5) SENCo Paediatric First Aid Food Hygiene Level 2

All staff are highly motivated and are keen to continue their professional development which enables them and the preschool to ensure that they are working at the highest standards for the children in their care. Staff regularly attend training sessions held by Worcestershire Children First or accredited training companies.
Sam has undertaken SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) training to support children with additional needs within the pre-school setting, in this position she will work with the school SENCo when needed.
Donna is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for pre-school and works closely within the DSL for the school (Mrs Bennett).
All staff have a current DBS check held with Flyford Flavell Primary School
