Who's Who
Our Pippins Team
The preschool is managed by Sam Tarver who has experience with children from 3 months to 5 years in a nursery setting and has also worked as a teaching assistant in a first school. Sam has two daughters who are at high school and enjoys spending her time on shopping trips with them.
Rachael Chance joined Pippins as maternity cover and has stayed with us. Rachael has experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years within a nursery setting. She has previously been the deputy manager at a nursery near Worcester. Rachael has a daughter who is at high school.
Bex Spencer is the newest member of the team but has been known to staff for a few years as she has previously been a Pippin parent. Bex has childminding experience with children aged 3 months to 5 years. Bex has three young children who attend Flyford Flavell Primary School.
| Sam Tarver Hello, I’m Sam and I truly believe I have the best job. I love being part of children’s learning journeys, watching as they discover, learn and enjoy new life experiences. I live on a farm with my husband and two daughters, we have one dog, three cats and two rabbits. I enjoy weekly shopping trips and lunch out with my daughters.

| Rachael Chance Hello, I'm Rachael. I have really enjoyed being in Pippins and getting to know all of the children and their families. At home I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter, especially walking our dog, Arlo. I enjoy cooking and creating new meals for my family.

| Bex Spencer Hello, I'm Bex. I am excited to join the Pippins team. I have six children, three of them are at Flyford Flavell Primary School. We all enjoy playing football and going on walks together, we like to challenge ourselves to walking as many big hills as we can in the summer. I enjoy building relationships with the children and parents at Pippins.

Staff Qualifications
The staff at Flyford pippins are experienced and qualified and are dedicated to early years learning.

All staff are highly motivated and are keen to continue their professional development which enables them and the preschool to ensure that they are working at the highest standards for the children in their care. Staff regularly attend training sessions held by Worcestershire Children First or accredited training companies.
Rachael is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for pre-school and works closely within the DSL for the school (Mrs Bennett). Rachael has undertaken SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) training to support children with additional needs within the pre-school setting, in this position she will work with the school SENCo when needed. Rachael is supported by Sam who has also trained in the SENCo role.
All staff have a current DBS check held with Flyford Flavell Primary School
