Summer Term June – July 2025

This half term we will explore shapes, colours, holidays and summer.

We will look at the different colours around us and explore mixing colours by getting messy with paint, we will try to predict what colour we will make.

We will talk about the different types of holiday that people go on and look at the differences between holidays now and holidays in the past.

We will look at summer sun and water safety and think about the ways in which we need to take care of ourselves such as using sun cream and keeping hydrated.

Summer Term April - May 2025

This half term at Pippins our topic is Where We Live, Our Country and Growing Up Around the World.

We will look at our local area and talk about the places we like to visit with our friends and family. We will look at photos of different places in the world and talk about how they are similar and different. We will look at different schools around the world. We will talk about the different ways we travel to school and how they are similar and different to children in other countries. We will look at the similarities and differences between the houses we live in as well as comparing rural and urban areas.
